In 1995, Formline was founded on this belief by Ross McDonald - a builder who had seen firsthand how complex and disconnected the construction process had become. With this experience, he set out with a vision to create a better way, one that was smarter, more connected, and gave clients greater clarity and control. The goal was simple: to align design with cost, simplify the process, and deliver quality, giving clients the confidence that they could rely on better.

For over 30 years, Formline has built on that vision, expanding our capabilities and refining our model to continually deliver better at every stage of the journey. What began with in-house design and project management has grown to include architecture, technical engineering, complex new build delivery expertise, and a strategic advisory arm focused on upfront feasibilities and investment planning.
